About Us

We Build the Spaces Where Belonging Happens

Our Foundation

Mission & Vision

Our Mission

The BGB Culture & Creative Alliance connects people and communities through culture, art, and music. We design inclusive cultural programs that celebrate Canada's diversity, amplify underrepresented voices, and engage youth as creators and community leaders. By creating shared cultural experiences, we foster belonging, strengthen cross-cultural understanding, and build more connected, equitable communities where everyone can participate, contribute, and feel at home.

Our Vision

We envision a Canada where culture, art, and music are powerful forces for belonging — where people from all backgrounds experience connection through shared creativity, youth grow into confident cultural leaders, and diverse communities thrive through mutual understanding, collaboration, and pride in identity.

Our Story

Who We Are

The BGB Culture & Creative Alliance is a community-driven non-profit dedicated to building belonging in Canada's multicultural society through culture, art, and music.

We believe creative expression is more than entertainment — it is a bridge between generations, cultures, and communities. In a country shaped by migration and diversity, many people, especially youth and newcomers, seek spaces where their identities are seen, their stories are valued, and their voices matter. The BGB Culture & Creative Alliance creates those spaces.

Through cultural events, music showcases, art workshops, and community-led programming, we offer accessible platforms for cross-cultural exchange, shared storytelling, and collective creativity. Our programs celebrate heritage while nurturing evolving cultural identities, ensuring participation is barrier-free and welcoming to all.

Youth leadership is at the heart of our work. We engage young people not only as participants, but as co-designers, performers, facilitators, and decision-makers. By combining creative practice with mentorship and leadership development, we equip youth with confidence, skills, and a sense of purpose — ultimately empowering them to become the next generation of community builders.

We collaborate with artists, schools, cultural organizations, settlement agencies, and community groups to design programming rooted in local voices and lived experience. These partnerships expand access, strengthen impact, and cultivate lasting networks of belonging.

"Through the shared languages of art and music, BGB builds spaces for dialogue, pride in identity, and social connection."
